Halcyon’s Dancing in the Moonlight (“Milly”) was Best of Opposite Sex at the Potomac Valley Standard Schnauzer Club Match in August 2014.

  

GCH CH Halcyon’s Be the Change You Wish to See (“Ezra”) won his American Kennel Club Championship in rapid order at 11 months in May 2014. Ezra continued to win several Best of Breed titles quickly achieving his Grand Championship. Ezra is owned by Rose and Sarah Miller.

  

CH Halcyon’s Valentino (“Rudy”) and proud owner Joel LaBuda earned their 3rd Novice Obedience leg with a 2nd place at the Dog Owners Training Club in March 2014.

Halcyon’s All You Need is Love (“Frodo”) was Winners at the Westminster Kennel Club dog show, and selected for an Award of Merit over champions by Judge Douglas Hollaway. Congratulations to Frodo and owner/handler Leslie Shriner!

New Champion at Halcyon

Halcyon’s Addicted to Love, (“Carly”) became an American Champion in November, 2013. Carly swept the field at the 4 days of dog shows in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Under Judge Terry Stacy, Carly was selected Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex. The following two days, Carly was Best of Winners. All wins were 3 point majors. On the 4th day, Carly competed as a new champion in the Best of Breed ring and was awarded “Select”, getting her first Grand Champion points. Carly finished her championship at the age of one year. She is the daughter of Grand Champion Halcyon’s Samuel Adams and Champion Mohner’s Legacy for Halcyon.

 

HALCYON’S ALL I NEED IS LOVE (FRODO) AND HALCYON’S ADDICTED TO LOVE (CARLY) WERE SELECTED BEST PUPPY AND BEST OF OPPOSITE PUPPY IN THE AUGUST 25, 2013 PVSSC SANCTIONED MATCH. FRODO THEN COMPETED WITH THE ADULT ENTRIES FOR BEST IN MATCH AND WON! IN HER WRITTEN CRITIQUE, JUDGE SABINE BAKER COMMENTED

The puppy dog was more squarely built, seemed solid as a rock, and in spite of his young age had tremendous ring presence. My best of
opposite was an exquisite puppy bitch. I was surprised to learn that those two were littermates, as they are not at all similar in style, yet both excellent examples of the breed.

OWNER HANDLED EXCLUSIVELY, “RUDY” AND HIS OWNER JOEL LABUDA COMPLETED THEIR QUEST FOR AKC CHAMPIONSHIP.
